However,
a) Using keyboard become very difficult
b) It will not be accessable is the front end window is "Always on top"
c) What if there is a need of another program which also slide on top of screen? (If it is the case of Hotkey, we can always assigned a diff one)

2 buttons add to title lines for Fav list and  history list. The idea of separate into 2 buttons is great

Adding button to a win title bar is a clever idea.
It simply mean author can choose to support specific program to "browse to a folder" when no Open/Save dialog is being pop up.
E.g. This program can support "Total commander" It simply place those access button on Total commander's title bar. So user can simply clcik the button and has the latter browse to a selected folder.

Instead of a goo idea, this has made it difficult to handle ALL kind of dialogs.
I think this is the greatest problem maker of the program...
E.g. It can't handle Visual FoxPro dialog. As a side effect, many appl need to be trained. While ability to train appl is a good feature the frequent need to train is not. Most of the time, training is required not because a dialog is special, instead is due to the modification to the dialog (i.e. this feature can't never be implemented easily)

Must target the button.

While placing access buttons on the toolbar make things clear and beautiful, putting the button on win title bar has added advantage. See comment on "Direct Folder"

The button is inserted to the dialog itself. I am against the idea of modifying structure of dialog (can easily cause instability), controling dialog behaviour is OK but adding items inside the body of the dialog is not really a comfortable thing.

If a folder is added to Fav list and it contains sub folders. User can opt to list its sub folders (sort or unsort, instead of jumping to it) when it is clicked.

This feature is fantastic in case you have serveral folders to jump about and it happens that all of them are under the same parent folder. Instead of having all these folders added one by one to the Fav list, you need only to add the "Parent" folder.

Note: Switching sub folder in the dialogs file list area is diff from picking the right sub folder directly from Fav list.

The ability in training each application in this program is not taken as bonus because they are more on a cure to fundamental flaw in the program design rather then user's need.

Simply because list buttons are added to the extended area at the bottom of dialog and the lists are strictly combo list rather then something more advance which support grouping, a more detail control is therefore inevitable.

1. Must have folders history + optional file history
2. Must be able to control the max# recorded

Standard requirement mean both 1. and 2. must be present.

Means user can drag a folder from anyway and have it drop as a folder on the FAV list

Author:
Even though one can drag and drop a "shortcut to folder" to the FAV list, but it is not stored as a shortcut (it is converted to the absolute address then stored)

Author:
Can't take the LNK file, instead it converts it to absolute path for adding.
If URL file is added, it always fail to valid the path. I have adjusted such that it can make DNS search and HTTP outbound. I don't know whatelse it wants. So it is considered not a fully functional feature.
[48]
Author:
Even though LNK and URL are not supported, but it supports path in Registry editor. So to be fair I give equal points to both.

Besides folders, this program also handles files being accessed. Some might find the access menu messy, with the addition file access options, luckily, those can be turn off.
