Free racing game - Drive a BMW M3 for once in your life

(1/2) > >>

Lashiec:
Today seems to be the day of free games in DonationCoder. I just discovered a racing game from BMW and Simbin (Swedish company specialized in racing games like GTR2 for the PC), which BMW is giving away for free to promote his new car model. You can only choose one car (guess which one ;)), and race in two tracks in Nurburgring. It also allows multiplayer so you can beat your fellow DCers and put them to shame ;D. It's available either from the BMW site or this gaming site. Happy racing!

Cool! I wish I had a wheel and pedals... Probably high time I bought some. Now that I have kids, I stick very close to the speed limit and curse at yahoos that pass me when I'm doing 10 clicks over the speed limit on the highway. I LOVE speed, though, and would really like to get my fix digitally - too old and scared to get it while I'm driving these days (can't afford to risk my life anymore and can't afford speeding tickets, increased insurance premiums and, oh, yeah I'd really hate to hurt someone else). This game might be just the ticket!

wow! this is cool.. i remember a game like this coming out a few years back show-casing cars from Benz & Volvo S40s.. anyway, if you want experience the thrills on a bike, get this also.. :)

Darwin:
Hey, missed that the first time around, lanux. Thanks for reminding us. That's probably going to be good for playing with the keyboard (I hate simulating driving cars and flying planes with keyboard shortcuts, but somehow shifting my weight on a bike by manipulating the arrow keys makes sense... probably just me  ;D)!

Edvard:
Reminds me of when I bought my first NEW Volkswagen - a black 4-door Golf.
The manual came with a crippled copy of Midtown Madness... Guess which car you had the choice of.
