To install the new version do i have to uninstall the old version first?

Also, awhile back i had a problem with Process Tamer not running. I since discovered that having the windows service that runs performance counters and logs is necessary for Process Tamer.

you do not have to uninstall previous version.
you do have to exit it from the tray through before you run the new installer
(after this new version you will not even have to do that on updates).
