Sites Where You Can Converse With Imaginary Characters
« on: August 27, 2007, 10:53:53 PM »
Our own Nick Pearson set up a page on his website where you can post questions to (and get answers from) the imaginary (don't tell him i said that) bird/duck creature Cody who is the mascot of our site.

I love hearing Cody's answers to questions - he offers a unique perspective on life.  He seems real.

It got me thinking about other sites where you can  speak with imaginary creatures.. Does anyone know any?

Not exactly a site, but a few of the popular IM clients are setting up lifelike bots that will talk to you in a logical (most of the time) manner. I still like Cody better, though. :)

I knew one actual website that did something like this, but I can't remember the darn name!

There're a lot of 976 numbers that you can call if you'd like to SPEAK with an imaginary person...  :P Sorry, couldn't resist, and yes, I am ashamed of myself  :-[
