The current beta version is not final and has the following limitations. At the same time, we expect the next public beta release to incorporate all the missing features:

Web Control module (packing tools such as web content control, ad blocker, active content, ID Block, suspicious sites access monitor) is not included.

Real-time email attachments scanner is disabled.

Antispam module is not currently available.

Interface is available in English only.

Compatibility issues with third-party NDIS filters under Windows Vista (network monitor software, other security software).

We encourage you to help us improve the product while it's still in the beta process. Jump right in and participate in our public beta.

LOL - anyone dare to install this?

Their new release versions (of just the firewall) had enough major issues and bugs - a suite still in beta ... you'd have to be barmy to install it on anything other than a testbed!!!!

heheh that was my first reaction too. ;D

Don't get me wrong, I love Outpost, but i view all of their releases as potentially buggy betas, so when even THEY label something as an experimental beta.. look out!

You know, when I posted the initial post yesterday, I clicked "Modify" at once, and removed the few words I had added at the end of the post, because I realized that the little joke I had written very well could be mis-interpreted. Guess what the words said? They said: "Not for Carol"...   :P

Carol Haynes:
Yee haa .... there we go then  :tellme:
