Howdy, I've become quite fond of DC and I enjoy creating themes cursors etc and was wondering if there was a place I could share them here at DC? Maybe DC is only a place for coding? not for sharing graphics, art, etc, but I thought I'd ask anyway. Lemme know.

I would assume that you could, as lots of people here at DC seem to do graphics work. Not my dept. but I (personally) really wouldn't see why not. Hopefully mouser will pop in here and shed some light on it.

Oh, I guess I should clarify, I was thinking of sharing .ani, .ico files dunno if that would be a problem. Normally web browsers don't support these formats as viewable.

Yea, if you were going to freely distribute them you could start up a topic in the Announce your Software/Service/Product section, and just upload them individually (You can't use the Quick Reply to upload, though) or zip them and upload em. I don't think that, like you said, most browsers have support for those formats.

(just a reminder: upload the zip but provide a nice looking png file of the icon(s) and cursor(s), etc. so that we can see ALL of the content inside the zip.)
i'm looking forward to seeing your work.

ICONS!!!! I'm an absolute atrocity when it comes to art work. Currently, in terms of imaging we have nudone (which does the all-might cody and most of the artwork images you see on DC) and hamradio (which does almost every icon you see on DC programs / forum). I'm sure another artist would be very welcome It's good to hear that there's another helping hand around. As for how to offer your help, i'd say this thread you opened can do (although others might have another idea of a "formal presentation" ) Now all you have to do is, when people ask for some icon work.. Step up!

First of all, WELCOME TO DC, my home while I'm at home.
I'm glad you asked the question. The offer has been made in the past and as far as I know still is open for you to host your site on DC. PM mouser directly about this.
As was previously stated, graphics programs is a topic of great interest to numerous DC users. Like JG, I am "all thumbs" when it comes to such work. I use my graphic programs frequently though and love to see and often D/L other's work. I also look forward to seeing what you create.

Sorry, I missed this the first time through the thread. Just a suggestion, but you might want to create an image of the file (cursor, icon, etc.) such as a .jpg or .png that people could see what it was. Ken

sorry let me clarify -- ken was right, i'm happy to set up some space for you and we would like you to share your stuff here. my only suggestion about deviantart was a suggestion about a graphics community that might get you a wider audience in addition.
