JayIsGames competition: Audience Prize Voting Now Open

(1/1)

mouser:
I wanted to highlight the audience prize going on now at JayItGames.com.
Basically to vote you donate $1 and choose your favorite program.  The winner of the prize gets all the money donated during voting.  I think it's a great way to insure votes are fair, and a great way to reward the winner.

We are limiting voting to only those who donate as it discourages ballot stuffing. And besides, it's only a dollar and these fantastic games are all worth more than that, don't you think? No one is obligated to vote, and all we are asking for is a single dollar from each of you.

At the end of the week, all of the votes will be tallied and the game that receives the most community votes will be awarded the Audience Prize of $200!

All proceeds* from the vote donations will go directly to each respective game designer(s). Of course you may donate more than a dollar when you vote, though your vote will still count as just one vote.

The deadline to vote is this Sunday, July 29, 2007 at 11:59 PM (GMT-5:00).

Cheers, Mouser!

There have been so many unique and creative entries again in this competition that it is proving difficult to pick the winners. There is one that definitely stands out and is leading the pack, but it's a close race for runner up(!) The audience prize is also a close race, and so every vote counts in large amounts!

I do so appreciate the exposure the competition is receiving here at Donation Coders, especially since the competition this time hasn't received the attention from Digg that we received last time (*shakes fist at those fickle Digg people!*)

Anyways, thanks again, and look for an announcement for our next competition to be included with the results of this one! We're going to try a 2 month development period this time and we have even more sponsors to kick the prizes up a notch!

Cheers! \o/
