well, i did encourage you guys to post useless program requests didn't i... but let's aim for programs that wont be used to turn humans into robotic killing machines, as i'm afraid some of turtleboy's requests might..  |

 Just thought I'd see if I could make it work!  ColorTaskbar - Makes the taskbar gradually shift through a range of colors. thanks skrommel. i realize that during the coding snacks request for ideas i may have gotten carried away, but i thought you guys might want a few wierd ideas that sound like fun things (at least to me  ). anyway, i meant no offense to anyone for the requests. i respect your abilities to code these "snacks". I appreciate this. what do i need to donate and where? |

thanks!  I didn't see that (about the donation link) when I was on his webpage originally. I found the avatar using google image search a long time ago. I thought he was cute, so I kept him. I liked my highschool nickname far better than my gradeschool one (boll weevil), so I usually pick usernames with turtle in them. I was named boll weevil because a kid/friend? thought I had a hook noose like the boll weevil. True as it may be, I never really liked that nick. |

Couldnt there be a second version that enables you to simply change the colour of your taskbar. I would like to change mine without using windows styles, but I wouldnt want it changing all the time!

I'm still waiting for scolling/changing wallpaper (whilst still having the use of desktop icons ...) Seems to have happened in Windows 7 - just started using Windows 7 Professional (the proper version coming out in October) and I have to say I like it a lot. One of the features is desktop wallpaper slide shows. Nice. |
