Presentation is everything about sums it up ... maybe you have to return the box to Apple so they an open it for you!

Quite funny that apple design is so ugly1 (and always has been) if their new motto is "presentation is everything"... or perhaps I'm just not their target audience.
#1: okay okay, the iPod nanos are bearable.

apple, perfect example of 'branding' meaning everything to the consumer.
remove the apple logo and say it was for some other company and not one single person on the planet would bat an eyelid let alone start drooling over the 'design'.
but mention the magic word 'apple' and all suddenly turns to gold.
presentation = white box with red ribbon with a silver logo - isn't that what they use at every counter for fancy cosmetics - i always thought apple were a bit feminine in their design but this one nails it for it me. (i've stopped wearing lipstick and eyeshadow so no jokes about how do i know about cosmetics, please.)

what i want to know is, how can we, the consumer, buy some large hand painted images of these ad campaign photos? I mean sure having the ipod in one of these boxes is nice, but then you have to store the enoty box away in a safe. What I really need is some artwork for my wall featuring these boxes, so that I can have them on display at all times. And am I the only one not satisfied with just a full frontal picture of this box? I'd like a set of portraits viewing it from all sides. Surely the back of the box is just as sublime.

$6 extra for orders under $90 (mind you: I couldn't find any iPod for less than $90): that's a lot or origami.
I thought the flash animation was cute though: would that do for your wall if it was in a digital frame?

Don't know how I missed the iRack video - brilliant (if somewhat sick) and don't forget iPhone (sound crap on this one but it is short) --- also don't miss Bill Gates vs Steve Jobs
