It has enough features, and compared to other applications, it does quite well.

Conclusions
Evrsoft First Page 2006 is an excellent editor with many advanced features. A word about the nag screen: deal with it.

What a mess this application's past is.  If you followed the application from its first very popular releases until now you will see how many times users were left hanging.  It had such promise but the developers basically let the application and the name just die.

If you use the application just understand that there is NO support.  If you can deal with that then give it a try.

while it is a reasonable program, the abandoned status is a deal-breaker.. dhuser, why not give Nvu a try?

Thanks dhuser, but it seems odd for a free program to have a nag screen. On top of Nvu, another neat, free, multiplatform editor is KompoZer.

dhuser:
The nag screen is there because it was available for purchase. Now as it has been abandoned, there is no way to purchase the program, and there are no limitations in this version.
If you can stand some of the bugs (I have, after dealing with worse), it's not a bad program.

I already use and like KompoZer for visually editing sites with CSS. Possible New Mini-Review coming for KompoZer.
