IDEA: "Mark as spam" bookmarklet

(1/1)

Logomachist:
Myspace emails greatest strength is their greatest flaw. Because everyone is going to read them in a browser, any markup can be inserted, even scripts. This enables lots of cool things but it also allows the emails to be abused by spammers. By overriding the the original markup connected to links and buttons, spammers can prevent Myspace's "mark as spam" features from marking the email as spam, and can hinder attempts to delete the email.

What I want is a bookmarklet that's invulnerable to being overridden by a script, and can be used to mark any Myspace email as spam.

Bonus points if this can be integrated with the browser so you don't need to select a bookmark- you can click the myspace "spam" link and it'll mark the message as spam.

Double bonus points if this bookmarklet can be written in a way that facilitates other people extending it to work with other websites. This would probably be getting really complicated, (too complicated for a snack) but what about a simple AI that could "learn" how to mark messages as spam on different websites by asking you simple questions and examining links?

Oh and the neat thing about this is if you can come up with this program, you could probably sell it to Myspace for at least a few thousand dollars. ^_^ It would definately be worth their investment, and thousands of people would use it everyday.

Don't know about the rest, but it seems to me if ANYONE can override the markup, so can the reciever.  It just needs to be a program that overrides the override with the original settings, right?  Now if only I could program better.... :P
