http://synergy2.sourceforge.net/

Like wow man it actually works!
I don't know if anyone here knows of this free software but it does work.

One mouse and keyboard to control and operate two computers.
And the other mouse and keyboard still works on the client machine.

Perhaps you folks know of this program, or not.
But I thought I'd contribute a little here.

Going to play with it a bit more.
See if I can get it to drag and drop between computers.

You folks know of any others like this?
The KVM deal wasn't what I was lookin for, although it works, it's not free.

Welcome to the forum. Yes, Synergy is the only freeware in its class. Stardock has a commercial product for the same.

Dragging and dropping is not possible using Synergy AFAIK. You can cut/copy paste tho.

Yeah, it kicks ass!!! I use it at work every day to control 2 desktops and the laptop with just one keyboard and mouse.  My coworkers think I am operating like a spaceship or something.  It's one of the MUST HAVE apps....really.

Hey thanks for the welcome and the link.

Sure makes it easier to run programs and get some production going.
Without having to think about which keyboard or mouse to use.

Always a good feeling to accomplish something or just finish fixing a problem.
