UDPixel - repairs Dead Pixel on TFT Screens

(1/1)

masu:
Description:
This program helps to locate and fix LCD screens dead pixels.

You can fix the stuck pixels by calling them to do rapid changes. You need to run this program for a couple of hours. There is no warranty on the result, but you don't really have anything to lose trying it out. Good luck.

Hm, I'm pretty sceptical wrt. this, but I guess it's worth a shot. I might end up missing my single cyan friend if it works, though :)

EDIT: meh, only seems to work on the primary monitor.

I used UDPixel to fix a dead pixel that showed up on my laptop monitor (a Sharp WUXGA), it took about 5 minutes. But when I tried it on another monitor (a "Rosewill" from Newegg, don't know the LCD brand) it didn't work after running it for a half hour or so.

Thanks for the pointer, I used it to quickly test a TFT for dead pixels. Easy to use.
