Regedt32.exe + RegMon are sufficent to perform any registry-related tasks.

Carol Haynes:
RegEdt32.exe is not present in Windows XP (it just starts Regedit) and whilst regedit does the job it is very slow to use when you have a large registry and has poor search facilities and almost no frills (like bookmarks  or global replace etc.)

tinjaw:
Has anybody done a comparison of these? Registrar Registry Manager and Registry Workshop seem like the best options by only looking at the marketing propaganda on their websites. I think I will try out those two.
