Free subscription to Dr. Dobbs Journal

I have been receiving Dr. Dobbs Journal, for free, for a number of years. (I don't know how it started or why)

It's a great magazine that any developer would definitely enjoy.

They sent me a link today and told me to invite all my programmer friends to sign up for a free 1 year subscription. ($50 value)

Since all you guys are my friends, here is the invite.

They are limiting the number of free subscriptions. (I don't know how many will be given out)

Offer is only good for those that live in the US or Canada. (sorry, everybody else)

More parochial than that, so don't feel bad. 
Although it presents a mechanism by which to register from Canada, I can't persuade it to accept the data (not even when resorting to IE) :o
