- or? I know I did this the wrong way; not making any backup first, but yesterday the installation of Java failed and I didn't want to backup an error, so I installed ToFolder and ViewDir without any backing - and now Outlook will freeze at each PC Startup! I'll have to Ctrl+Alt+Del kill it, but the 'funny' part is that when I then open it again, it will work as normal. Of course I ran an Office Find&Repair, but that didn't help.

Maybe your ReadMe-s could tell what changes are being made, and where, or offer some Undo?

Any idea What To Do? I will hate to roll XP back; the last fixing point is quite old.

Register DLL / OCX = regdllocx
Want to add a right-click context menu item for registering / unregistering DLL's or OCX's?

I installed this 'regdllocx' but was surprised to see that it didn't find its brothers, ToFolder and ViewDir, when it displayed 'all' file menu and contect menu DLLs. So I couldnt help the situation this way.

I'm confused as to what issues you are having.  To see what changes any of the Reg Hacks are doing just open the .reg file in notepad and you'll see whats going on.

Also, not sure what the Register DLL / OCX reg change has to do with its brothers, as you put it...

Sorry, it was a poor description I gave.  :-[

Before installing ToFolder and ViewDir I made no backup of the reg.
Ater installing ToFolder and ViewDir I rebooted the PC.
I have Outlook placed in Start. When Outlook is open at PC upstart it will now freeze in the middle of the send/receive procedure, and I will have to kill the Outlook process. When I then re-opens Outlook it will work as normal.
This strange behaviour is due to the reg hacks.
There are other new minor problems.
I cannot see in the reg file what I should do to undo the hacks.
Can I somehow undo the hacks?

Veign:
Just redownload and open the zip file.  Then look inside of the .reg file to see what changes were made.  Not sure how these reg hacks could affect Outlook like that - Just don't see the connection.
