How about Verschwindibus (let me know if you ever figure out how to say that).
Download it here

I think it's German, 'verschwinden' means to go away. You should it pronounce it as fair-sween-den, putting the emphasis on -sween- and pronouncing the -s- with your teeth touching each other and touting your lips. Like in Sssssschweppes.

Thanks for the links guys.

edit
looking at these links
most of the tray tools will do that:
I have the PS tray Factory and it won't work with the shell I use ( BBlean) so I'm trying to find some other way to do it and free if I can.
There was something like this at the autohotkey forums but dang if I can find it now.

How about TrayIt! (it's free and been mentioned in some of forum threads over here)

Yes that will move them to the tray but I'm looking to put the icons in the tray in to one icon.
Tomany icons in the tray right now. and no way to hide them.
So we have one icon in the tray and then we add a program to the icon if it is lower etc.
Programs then don't use the system tray is no problem.

Added my tray ..........

Candle - TrayIt! has an option to group similar icons.
Maybe you can do something with that like represent your programs with the same icon; or what about calling your apps each with a batch file - maybe TrayIt will group all batch windows to 1 icon.

OK doing more searching I think I found what you are looking for - Iconic Tray (shareware).  Can send to system tray as individual icons OR into the Iconic Tray Icon.

Gave it a try but couldn't get it to work on my system.
I couldn't get to the setup on the thing to use it?
Thanks for the help.

Added
What I ended up doing was just removing that tastbar and loading up objectdock and I'll run that for my tasktray.

Thanks for trying to help me with this. :-*

I did find this today and a little on the high side for shareware but can use it for any amount of time just trim back a little.
HideHelper - Hide windows
And it does work with my shell.

Hi Candle,

Give this little AHK script I threw together a shot...

Run it, make a window active, then hit Windows-T to throw it to the tray icon.
Right-click the tray icon and click the window name to restore it.

NOTE: do not close the program with any windows hidden as they will still be running, but permanently hidden.

You could avoid that problem by adding a OnExit label ;)

Yes I found that afterwards, thanks.
However, I am still having problems getting it to work because I couldn't find a way to ask for all the menu items,
so I am having to store an additional copy of the data, and I still have a few bugs to work out...

Ah, here we go... this version seems to work well, reshowing all of the windows upon close, and adding a menu option to show them all at any time.
