What was your favorite saturday morning cartoon?

(1/3) > >>

mouser:
Saturday morning in the United States is traditionally the day for childrens cartoons.  If you live outside the US just suggest your favorite cartoons when you were a young kid (8yrs old or so).

What was your favorite?

I think i'd have to say SuperFriendsw.

But I was quite fond of DynoMuttw.

KenR:
Wow, you started out the Superfriends, that was certainly one of mine. There was Fantastic Four and Aquaman (not SeaMan and swallow from SouthPark). Herculoids was extremely cool. Space Ghost and SpiderMan were great. Later, Thundarr the Barbarian was good. Oh yes, and who can forget Land of the Lost and lovable Scooby Doo. Finally, there was Johny Quest.

That's just off the top of my head, I'm sure there's a bunch of obvious ones I forgot.

tinjaw:
Although I too loved Saturday morning cartoons, I found as much enjoyment in many of the cheesy live-action shows after school as well. Among some of my favorites in both categories are (in no particular order):

* Space Giants
* Battle of the Planets
* Thundarr The Barbarian
* Shazam
* Hong Kong Phooey
* Ark II
* Land of the Lost
