Capture&Save
« on: January 28, 2007, 10:42 AM »
I am new to this program. I can capture an image and can change its size etc. But when I go to "Save as-" in the file folder there is no such thing. Where is the image saved and how to I send it to a Document or a PDF file? Thanks.

screenshot captor saves all screenshots by default in its configured Screenshot Directory (you can configure this where you want it).

In the thumbnail panel you can see all the image files there - and you can right click on them to perform all operations you would normally perform inside your file explorer, or drag the files out from there into other programs.

You can also use Save As as you say and save as PDF or other formats in whatever other directory you want.  If you want Save As to save in your current screenshot directory, just browse to it (by default i can't remember if its in the Screenshot Captor program directory or in C:\Documents and Settings\....).

But when I go to "Save as-" in the file folder there is no such thing.
What do you mean exactly?

Additional explanations to mousers:
Where is the image saved
1 Open the "Preferences" of ScreenShot Captor
2 go to the "Files+Folders" tab
3 the "Screenshot Folder" you see there is that folder your shots are stored

and how to I send it to a Document ...?
You can use the clipboard also to paste your picture to your document.

For the original un-modified shot:
Be sure to copy the shot automatically to the clipboard:
1 Open the "Preferences" of ScreenShot Captor
2 go to the "On Capture" tab
3 check "[]Copy Image To Clipboard"

Then use Ctrl+V in your document after you taken an shot

For your modified picture
1 use Ctrl+C in ScreenShot Captor once you are finished
2 use Ctrl+V in your document
