But Stickies has been crashing on me again for no obvious reason - maybe my system is too old  :(

What's new since version 7.1d

Changes

    Windows 8 is now recognised by Stickies so the correct font list is displayed
    The Stickies installer now puts an icon on the Start screen under Windows 8
    Maximum text in a sticky raised from 265000 to 614400 characters

Fixes

    Bug fix ensuring that sticky IDs are kept when control-dragging a sticky to copy it
