plus im envisioning other plugins, like a weight tracking plugin, todo list plugin, etc.
all designed to set up their own database with custom fields, and helpers to make it easier to work with that info
(like the weight plugin might prompt you each day to enter your weight), etc.

This is perfect.  Not that it will be easy, but this is an excellant way to do this.  I especially like it because it allows for the notes idea (a gray area as we talked about) but doesnt force it on people.  I'm assuming you'll be able to have multiple plugins running at the same time from the same CHS shell??  Awesome solution to this problem!!
