Aren't XML files supposed to be formatted?

Hi Carol, hi mouser,
Could we rotate the inserted clips in ScreenshotCaptor ???
If yes, than we need not the arrows / corners in four time construction, one for each direction. Isn't it ?

So we could even down size the starter pack.
I hope the start pack is an optional dl for not make this so big.
Maybe People would think "for what 2meg dl for an snap shot tool ? "

Good selection, Carol. I had meant the packeg would get much bigger.
I had thought every one clipart is bigger, 'cus of the 80MB dl.

I looked at the rest of the package and the only other stuff I thought might be relevant were some computer clipart (Pictures of CD/DVDs, keyboards etc)

There could be a set of optional packs to download. How easy would it be to integrate these in a browser (like a set of plugins).

The license in the Open ClipArt pack is basically 'download and use as you like' ... even commercially if you want!

Good idea about rotating (if feasable) to cut down on the number of icons required. If possibly by user selected  angles (as well as standard left and right) would be good.

the new screenshot captor already supports a little clipart browser, and will use any packs you copy into its clipart directory, so this is indeed very easy to do..

users can always just download the entire open clipart pack, or use their own non-opensource clipart.. i just want to provide a basic set to start people off.  rotation is supported (though unfortunately only 90 degree intervals).

i expect to have the new version of screenshot captor up on monday - all the new features are implemented but there are quite a few rough spots that need to be smoothed over.

i also still need to find some picture frames.

Here is a source of some good free edges and frames. http://thepluginsite.../resources/edges.htm

Harry's edges are useful - and in JPG format.

In fact the website has tons of information and downloads for free and commercial graphics and video tools. The newsletter is excellent too and worth subscribing to.

That looks real >>>>teaser<<<<  :)

If you mean such frames as in your teaser shot, i had such dl from Photofiltre ===> Masks for the PhotoMasque module

I must look what licences the are have.
I had made my own frames as *.gif, too.
I will sort them out and mail them to you if this is wanted.

BTW: this PhotoMasque modul from PhotoFiltre is very handy
and easy to use to make very nice frames for your photos.
You could choose between transparent or color mask, see below.

--------
Edit:
white Polaroid on white ground is not nifty, so i had change the color white to red.

when is monday?                                                      ...when is mondaaaayyyy???

teaser picture of the new screenshot captor:

Mouser,

If I highlight an area, it's that area I want to draw someone's attention to.  So, I think I want the inverse of your picture, that is, the area within the highlighed area should be in ordinary text, and everything *outside* should be lowlighted.

that's a very interesting idea rjbull, but not so easy to achieve.. i will think about it though.
right now you can use the tool to blur everything outside of a rectangular region, but it would be nice to be able to say blur everything not covered by an object.
