If you've got a free hour it's worth looking at to get a good idea of animating a character in flash.

I'm pleased to see that what I did is pretty much the right way of doing it. I had been wondering if I was doing things the wrong/slow way but if it's good enough for Chris George then it's good enough for me. (check out his website www.mudbubble.com or blog www.keyframer.com)

He does have a few good tips that I think will help the next version of cody's animation.

i may dig deeper into flash and actionscript and will post my findings here - if they seem of worth.

here's another movie tutorial by Chris George. it's looooong (over an hour) and slow going in parts but does explain a few more character animation tips in flash.

anyone know of any more movie tutorials for flash character animation (and game design)?

i like to learn via movies and haven't really come across any in this category.
