LinkedIn is an online service offered to enable professionals find and connect with other professionals more effectively (the ‚ÄúLinkedIn Service‚ÄĚ). Whether looking for a job, a lead for that next deal, or an industry expert, LinkedIn users can make contact with thousands of professionals who are users of the LinkedIn Service.

Thinking of joining just for the heck of it, any opinions?

The guy who created it was just interviewed on Venture Voice or Hanselminutes recently. I forget which. I think it was Venture Voice.

Might be worthwhile. But you do have to work it smartly. You can't just invite everyone and their grandmother. But it sounds like a good tool.
