(1/1)

binaryshadow:
oh i know i cant have a bot, at least i don't think so....
another idea i was curious about is something that will listen to an irc channel and when ever keywords you set from a database are said a pop-up shows with thier corresponding reply options. so if some one says president you would get a pop-up that shows all the presidents. only idea i had was for database format like this

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
| keyword |              possible reply                                                  |
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
|president| nixon                                                                             |
|president| clinton                                                                            |
|president| bush                                                                              |
|president| bush jr                                                                           |
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

so how hard are those i dead? Also Mouser i will e-mail you with some t.f.l.m questions.
again if i posted this inorrectly i apologize lemme know and won't do it again.

mouser:
this is an interesting idea..

are you thinking of a specific irc client like mirc?
im not sure if an auto pop up would be the best thing but i can certainly see the use of a script where you could highlight or type a word and then get a pop up menu of items you could select to paste in.

binaryshadow:
i am using mirc 6.16. if the script could highlight the word and when i click it that makes the popup that would be cool. i really hate typing so if someone said bunny rabbits i could choose a bugs, fluffy, or stew recipie reply ;) i would have a great tool for easier days. i always figured these computer things are supposed to make life easier right, so why not push it to the max :) thank you for your help also guys.

mouser:
we recently put a mirc script pack up in the download section (https://www.donationcoder.com/Software/Mouser/mircpak/index.html)
the other author of those scripts (koncool) might be able to whip this up - i'll send him a link to this topic.
