Free Directory Opus 6, Paragon Drive Image, etc.

Free older versions of some useful software, particularly the Directory Opus reviewed on donationcoder.  The only glitch is that the versions are older than current versions.

Once you go to the vnunet.com site to download, make sure you scroll down to follow the instructions to get your free serial for the software....which lifts the trial/demo restriction.

 :D This is too good to be missed. If you like Norton GHOST, you'll love this. Image your partitions, create a bootable disk to image/restore; verify images; recover files from images. Supports USB & (unlike GHOST - as confirmed by Symantec) works on dual boot systems.

Acronis is giving away an older version (V7) of its True Image program. Now V7 may not have the fancy features of the latest version but it's still a great product. It can't backup to DVD and it requires 2 CD drives for cloning, but it's a totally usable product. The only small downside is you have to register to get a Key; a tiny price to pay to get a top product. Once registered you need to login to download the software.
