I'm validated,wgp,etc.Just reformated like two weeks ago...
I get to the end of the installation then...

You can also try Dial-A-fix. Go in the tools menu and select "Repair permissions".

I had the same problem installing the last beta. IIRC, I had to turn off all my security apps in order to complete installation. This release installed right over that installation without a hiccough, though...

Errr,still no dice,i've extracted the codec distro and it won't install either,something is a foul.

Thanks for input from both of you,i like Dial-A-fix,it's a tweak tool for the "reader" -
in other words it's not the one touch button solution.could be dangerous but has options
i haven't seen in other tweak tools. :Thmbsup:
