Task Log - virus? bug? help

(1/1)

hariratan:
Hi! Skrommel

I used Task Log for about a week. A few days back I deleted tasklog by mistake and wanted to dowload another copy and eveyrtime I tried I get the message that the file is in use and cannot be copied. And soon after my AVG starts up saying that there is a virus in the downloaded software.

How can I get a copy of the latest version of Tasklog?

AND Thanks a Metic Tonne for this wonderful piece of work.

Ratan

see here for info about these annoying false alarms from virus protectors on compiled ahk scripts: https://www.donationcoder.com/forum/index.php?topic=5615.0

you can download latest version of the ahk source code of skrommels programs from here, andcompile it yourself with two clicks of the mouse, for total confidence in its integrity:
https://www.donationcoder.com/Software/Skrommel/

To compile an .ahk script, just install auto hot key (http://www.autohotkey.com/), and then right click on a .ahk file and say "compile to exe".

It worked, it worked.

Skrommel, why don't you add this comment to your page. The one about virus and the response.

Thanks for the swift reply.

yes, i agree.. since skrommel's not around. why don't the mods just make a sticky & let everyone know that they have to compile the scripts themselves to avoid triggering the false alarm..
