Depending on the nature of the habit, I'd say that Dr. Blume's method *only* works when the habit hasn't spread out among other habits and doesn't involve repression. I far more comprehensive approach (that I have proven upon my self) is to be found in "Self-Creation" by Dr. George Weinberg.
