i cant get past the guard in your screenshot.

i THINK we need to run past him, but as soon as i get up there, i get busted.

Get into the position shown by using up-arrow once. As soon as he steps to the ledge before turning around, climb up and get behind him where you can walk up and smack him. It only worked once for me so be careful...
