this was on Shell Extension City.

folder markers http://www.foldermarker.com/ lets you colour your folders - looks great as it so easy to use - just a right click and select from the menu.

kimmchii, xentient labels looks nice but it's $20. not sure i'd want to go that for this kind of thing.
