Zaine Ridling (member here at dc) has written another one of his patented low-key software commentaries on his blog:

I bought the 2.0 version of Adobe Photoshope Elements and it was steaming pile then, and it stinks even worse now at version 5. Here’s the quick and dirty before I raced to uninstall it

It's just another Adobe style application: big and slow. But it isn't slower than PE 4 which no doubt is a good thing. And it supports unicode characters, a cool thing for many users.
