For those of you who like Pandora and, like me, use WinAmp, you can now Listen to Pandora in WinAmp!

You can share your Pandora stations by clicking where it says 'share' and selecting 'Email current station to a friend'.

Enter your own email address and they will send the share link to you, so you can distribute it anywhere.

Here is a station I made by including all my favorite stuff:

Enjoy!  :)

Thanks, App103.  I have many of my own stations, but it's great to hear your special choices (very eclectic mix pf groups).

And now you can open up Pandora as a separate application that will minimize to the tray! Neato!

Pandora in Winamp?  :o Genius!

Ok, it's not genius, just the mini-player in an IE window inside Winamp, but still pretty cool.

Likewise vegas. I guess maybe it's not consistently good *and* varied enough to hold my interest. Plus the web-based player thing is annoying (and attendant high CPU/memory use). But they are working on things, rolling out new and enticing features (sharing of stations, "backstage", etc.). It's very early for Pandora yet. I think it shows the most potential, and certainly has the coolest back end, of any of the other services out there. The only other one that interests me much is Last.fm

I still use Pandora quite a lot -- when I'd started slowing down, OpenPandora came out and solved my one issue with it -- the dedicated Pandora browser window.  Being able to run it as if it is its own app was perfect.  I have several stations -- whether it's the chilled out station I listen to when I'm coding or my house cleaning "No Divas" station or an assortment of others, I have a soundtrack for every occasion.  It's ultimately exactly what I wan -- it's generally pretty smart, after some training, of playing quite consistently what I want played; all the while introducing me to new music I had no idea I loved so much.

Yeah, that's just it, it requires a bit of training. I definitely want to invest in training it at some point. In the meantime I found a radio station that plays a pretty good selection of what I like. I liked them so much I donated: RadioParadise :)

I just installed OpenPandora and I am loving it!

It's much better this way than running an instance of firefox to hide it.

Now I need to go dig up some 'things' and see if there can be some modding done to them to work with this, since it has title & artist on the window caption.  ;)
