I've just opened a save dialog. The path is in System, so I have a lot of clicking to do to get it where I want to save the file.

Usually I've got some C:\Stuff\Stuff\Stuff\Stuff\Stuff explorer window open, where I want to save the stuff.

Going there in the save dialog can be done by copying the path from the Explorer window "Address" field.
I want to alt/ctrl/Win-drag the title of the explorer window and drop in on the save dialog, which then would go to the path (just enter it in the file name field by copypaste and press enter).

although this isn't directly for what you are asking, do yourself a favor and go read our review of dialog extenders:

working with the save/load dialogs can be made infinitely more pleasing with these tools.

copypath is a very nice extension, but it sounds like he is an explorer/drag+drop centric person like myself and what he wants is to be able to drag directories from an explorer window to the open/save dialog to jump to that folder in the dialog.  it's actually a good idea for a feature to add to these dialog extender tools.

Actually if you put a fully qualified address in the filename it will save the file where you want without any navigation - so CopyPath to set a detination in advance does the job quite nicely (if that is what you want). I must say though that for regular use folders something like PS Hot Folders is much more convenient.
