http://www.soople.com is a useful site where you can do a variety of Google searches. I'll let the attached screenshot below do the talking.

Of these, I use ' Search within one site' most often.

I know there are other google meta search sites, who knows some more good ones?

http://www.gahooyoogle.com/ shows Google and Yahoo! search results side by side.

housetier:
at first glance soople reminds of the German search engine Seekport. I use seekport occasionally, when I can't find it in three tries with google.
