ok, maybe just work on having some sort of convention....
Back in Belgium Gothic used to go to one where where everyone brought their computers and networked them and shared all sorts of files/games/movies/programs etc. maybe thats something we can do...

ok, in the middle of us all..hmm , well that would propably be kiritimati island (blame the australians for messing up the average distance), its a lovely little rock , isolated, probably no wi-fi access however. Strong swimming ability recommended.

how about meeting up virtually in good old 'cyberspace'. in somewhere like 'second life' http://secondlife.com/ or we could all meet up inside a game of unreal tournament (or whatever) and try and kill each other. |

How about a temp channel on irc and we all meet there at a specified time/date and use the old MS Comic Chat? Click the thumbnail of my Comic Chat character to see a screenshot of part of a conversation we had in the DC irc channel a few months ago. I can't remember who the beatnik was, but that floppy disk was mouser. Normally the characters are NOT in color...I just happen to have a colorized set.  |

http://www.moove.com/is another free one , i think, im sure it is, there no payment options on the website anyhow, clients a bit hefty at 20mb, but seems to run ok. I still like the idea of running around Unreal Tournament and shooting the crap out of you all.

Here's a what we were working on,... We asked ourselves, what would be a cool place for the DC folk to hang around in, so I started goofing around a bit, and received an instruction here and there from Dell[a], and we came up with the idea to make an Inn (or something) where we could all hang out in. This is the (very unfinished) result,... The top floor is nowhere near finished (still needs wooden bars and wall decorations and stuff), and the roof is missing yet, but we're getting there  ) |

Unreal Tournament! Unreal Tournament! If we do it in the original - still my favorite - it should be easy/cheap for anyone who doesn't have it to get in. It's old and very inexpensive now, plus it will run on a wide variety of systems - maybe even App's old WinME box. We don't even have to kill each other if we don't want to. If we all download some cool, big maps, we can just run around and explore, and comment, etc. And anyone who wants to can edit the levels in-between sessions and put fun stuff in. Come to think of it, maybe there's A: a hide and seek mod or B: a treasure hunt mod for UT that would work for everyone. That could be really fun! Of interest to anyone?
