We were just toying with the idea of a custom Cody plush toy, maybe not for now, but in a few years?
Found one site that looked interesing, i wonder if people know any others, or have ever bought such a thing for their organization..

Have your idea turned in to the next blockbuster toy, or a great trade show giveaway. Whether it is very high retail quality, or a cost effective promotional item, we can manufacture and deliver a safe, good quality plush toy.
Minimum 500 order.

500 minimum is not bad. Still quite pricey though unless there's some remuneration involved.

Well now it is a few years later and I want a Cody plushy!

Still, it would be quite a financial commitment - do we have the funds and do we want to spend it on plushies?

Well we saw this sample one on their site:
http://www.customplu...display=&start=0
4a68a_horicon-goose-5.jpg

It looks quite a bit like cody, and they listed it as an example custom plushi made for about $6 in a run of 500.

So.. we could probably get a custom looking Cody plushy for $6 a piece.. That seems like a reasonable price per item, but the quantity puts it beyond our budget i'd say.  We'd have to order 500 of them which would be about $3000.

Have you thought about the army of under-age Cody chicks forced out of the nest before dawn in order to labour at producing these?

For shame, I say!

Persist in this and I'll have you brought up before the beak.

I am attempting to locate a pattern for the perfect cody doll. I'll mass produce them myself if I have to. No children will be laboring before dawn to make them, so don't worry.

<devil's advocate>Keep in mind that underpaid factory work might be preferable to prostitution</devil's advocate>

I'd love a cody plushie :)

What a fowl alternative that would be!

That's as hard to believe as a politician's speech.

I have located 2 patterns:

1. Cody during his 60's period (as mouser described it):

goose2.jpg

This one would need to be reworked slightly, to make the neck shorter, but I think it would look quite nice in the right colors rather than a weird patterned fabric, like they used.

2. Another funky Cody pattern:

goose1.jpg

Again, wouldn't be made with patterned fabric, and would be made with Cody's colors.

Personally, I think I like the first one better, but I'll have to see what happens (and how much they will cost to make)

Don't rush me and I'll see what I can do. Remember it will be just me working in this little NJ sweatshop, and I am a bit low on cash at the moment for supplies, and the fabric I would want to use for this is out of season. (not something the fabric warehouse near me usually stocks in spring/summer)

No children will be laboring before dawn to make them, so don't worry.

That's as hard to believe as a politician's speech.

I don't have any kids I could force to do it, even if I wanted to...my daughter is 23 and can't sew, and if I try to force my cats to do it, they will just lay on the fabric thinking I just bought them a new bed.

That second picture looks suspiciously like the penguin out of Wallace and Grommets Wrong Trousers (he was a master of disguise!!)

My only question is where is the plush coin he should be carrying?
