WinRar discount (20%) and some free copies to give away
« on: September 16, 2005, 08:52 AM »
Although winrar were not prepared to meet our normal 50% discount request, thanks to zaine's great review they have agreed to combine a 20% discount for all members with 10 free copies of the program for us to give out.

The winrar discount code will be made available in the members only section in a couple of days.  Zaine will decide how the free copies get given out - probably we will do what we have done in the past - set aside a few to recognize members who have contributed to the site and future reviewers, and give the rest out in a random drawing.

Way to go man, very cool. It's already pretty cheap as it is so i can understand them not going for the 50% off.
If i didn't already have it i'd be all over this.

Keep up the good work.

I don't have it!  I don't have it!  I'm keen!  (But I can't really afford even the reduced price... so if you're looking for a home for one of the freebies...)
