Date/Time Clips ???
« on: September 16, 2018, 06:51 PM »
Can I add a date/time clip style to the date/time clips menu in addition to the default ones ?

I prefer to read dates like this:   16-Sep-2018   :with numerical day of month - three-letter abbreviation of month - four-digit year.

Is there a way that I can add this style of date clip to the date/time menu ?

Thanks for reading and all help is appreciated.

It sounds like maybe what you might want to do is set the CUSTOM date field, on the Clipbard options tab.

Also, on the Quick Paste Pop-up Menu you can edit the list of Date/Time preset formats.

Thanks; that did the trick.

At the top of the list, I entered   %d-%b-%Y   and that gave me just what I was wanting = 17-Sep-2018
