If you ever get email from DonationCoder.com telling you to execute attachment..

(1/2) > >>

mouser:
we would NEVER send anyone an attached exe and ask you to run it.

i got this in my email today; i don't know if anyone else has gotten or will ever get one of these, but if you do, its a virus trick, and not from us:

"Dear Donationcoder Member,

Your e-mail account was used to send a huge amount of unsolicited spam messages during the recent week. If you could please take 5-10
minutes out of your online experience and confirm the attached document so you will not run into any future problems with the online
service.

If you choose to ignore our request, you leave us no choice but to cancel your membership.

Virtually yours,
The Donationcoder Support Team

total fake email - always beware such things - never execute any attached exes even if your mom sends it to you and says it's your birthday present.

tenseiken:
I have to admit, it's pretty clever.  Whoever made it assumed that 'donationcoder' was your ISP or some other email service provider, and for a large majority of people, that would be true.  But the whole 'donationcoder antivirus' just ruined it.

mouser:
yeah, you have to give them credit for creativity - the idea of pretending that the attachment was already scanned is clever.

mitzevo:
;D you shouldn't give them any credit what so ever..

Liewah:
Cannot figure out where to click to get the key to run the software..........
