Favorite viral video or short film clip?
« on: July 27, 2006, 10:15 PM »
f0dder gave me an idea. What are your favorite short video/film clips? (Sorry I'm bored, and I love this crap.) Here's mine:

Spock's funky fresh crib!
        — Star Trek Cribs with Spock

My others appeal to the emotions:
        — World on Fire
        — Responsibility commercial

Give it up dogs, I need some new distractions!

Music video: A Perfect Circle - Counting Bodies Like Sheep To The Rhythm of the War Drums:

or here:  http://www.aperfectc...rcle.com/bodies.html

Weeeeeeeee!:

It's not a video but it sure is fun:

Poke the Bunny (as fast as you can):  http://www.platinumgrit.com/poke.html

The bunny page is a perfect example of something catchy bringing in traffic to a website. The main site is a comic that many have discovered as a result of that bunny. In their forum there is a section where people explain how they found the site. The majority found it by accident after someone gave them a link to the bunny and deciding to investigate the main site after having so much fun.

Which brings me to this thought...

We need something like this for Cody!

Wow app, great choice. I remember Fett's Vette, what a classic! Here's another we all remember — this guy has good hands:

Just my luck that YouTube is down for maintenance when I found this thread. :P

Haha! OK YouTube came back. I heard Fett's Vette ages ago but never saw that video. Great stuff. Love the dancing. :D

Zaine, dug your selections too. The Spock one is hilarious, World On Fire is really touching, and I love that Hem song (fell in love with that band a few years ago when their debut came out) and it's well used in that commercial as well.

I'll have dig through my video archives and see if some of my old favorites have been put up on YouTube yet...

mouser: Nice, that "craziest" scrabble thing was very good.

A Perfect Circle... their first two albums were good, then it got way too political. Nice that Maynard got back and focused on Tool again.
