Diigo - social bookmarking and annotation

(1/2) > >>

mouser:

Diigo, known for its social annotation, finally went public yesterday. The service aims to turn the web writable allowing users to privately or publicly annotate any website they visit, in turn making a “participatory and interactive media” for its users. I must say that even though I have had an account for Diigo’s private beta since I last reviewed it late December, I have been anticipating its launch. So much has changed since my last review including social bookmarking enhancements, new annotation tools, tools built for bloggers, and more.

Hmm yeah diigo.com are overhauling their website atm; we shall see how it works, when I installed their toolbar/extension thingie.

housetier:
Woah! There are so many features that I am not sure I will need them all. I don't even use half of stumbleupon atm.

However I will keep this thing in mind, in case I feel stumbleupon is lacking something and diigo might have it. I don't want to discourage anybody from using this though, it just seems too much for me.

I already have so many plugins installed:

If someone from dc.com tried it, I'd be very interested in a supertiny review :)

I saw it here http://searchenginewatch.com/showPage.html?page=3622969

tried it, works quite well.  it does have a lot of features - but seem quite well thought out and integrated --maybe it can replace several of your many extensions :)

it is also quite customizable, especially its search toolbar, amazing.

nudone:
looks good to me - the annotation part especially.

i posted to early. i can't get it to work with maxthon.
