Online Photo Hosting
« on: July 24, 2006, 11:13 AM »
Hi guys.

My sister has hundreds of wedding photos.  She wants to share them on the internet so that everybody who wants to view or have photos can.

I don't even own a digital camera so this is foreign territory for me.  Is there a free service that allows you to upload hundreds of photos all at once.  We don't want to have to do them 1 by 1.

Thanx 4 looking.

www.flickr.com

You can make files private or public (and if I remember correctly restricted to friends too but I haven't used that function)

Thanks Carol.

We'll give it a go when we have some spare time.

Here is the upload page which shows the privacy options (click thumbnails):

You can send out invitations to contacts and you select whether they are firends or family form the contacts forms:

You can also send emails to your account by email (which is nifty) and have small and large versions of images (small for onscreen view, large for printing decent copies). You can also post your images on flickr directly to a blog page.
