List View on Desktop

if you use 'desktop restore' (which i blogged about here) i think you'll be able to save the icon positions - not tried logging off and back on so i guess the icons will just default back to the left hand side but at least you can 'restore' their position wich a couple of clicks.

it would be nice to see a more combined method...

currently, i'm not sure if this tiny icon thing is incredibly cool or incredibly foolish. looks kind of cool at the moment i think...

oh wow you have a huge screen there, and the list view looks nice.

are you using wintidy? can it remember the icon position or you are using 'desktop restore' to remember the positions?

that was using the combination of the 'deskview' util you found and 'desktop restore' not tried wintidy yet - i think i might have an older version of it somewhere that i can try, but i'm guessing that 'wintidy' can't remember the layout of small icons - that's the only reason i can think of that made me dismiss it before.
