Do you know the name of the installer/zip?  Sometimes a search on the exact filename gets a lucky hit on a university server that is publicly accessible.

I tried googling but blank.

I don't understand what might be wrong with your search engine, but Documalis Free Reporter took up the first page of my answers. I have however not tried to download a version.

Documalis Free Report is made up of a graphic report generator. It is simple and user-friendly, having a report preview in real time and a free execution engine by a command line; it looks like Office 2007, authorising every user to run his own extractions via a user-friendly help and to generate the result in PDF, Html, Word or Excel format. I found this page:
http://en.freedownlo...s-Free-Reporter.html

But I did not finish downloading once I saw "demo" as part of the filename.

Well, I did download the file, but it is zipped and not even 1 MByte in size. So if you say it was 20MByte or so, that doesn't bode well (didn't extract the archive though). And as previous poster already commented, the term 'demo' in the archive name doesn't inspire confidence either.

The "demo" copy is a harmless thing, version 2.33
- Revo Uninstaller Pro > advanced, didn't find any leftovers.

Hi Curt, MilesAhead and Shades, thanks for all the information.

The original Documalis Free Reporter v.1.0.0.0 was different than now available on various website. You can see the size at website http://www.winsite.com/Utilities/File-Management/Documalis-Free-Reporter/ and the program image on site http://documalis-free-reporter.software.informer.com/1.0/ and also as below

The problem all the download pages point is some demo or different program. The original is missing from all links. Only option now I feel is to find the original exe from someone who may have downloaded and still have it in his/her hdd/cloud.

Regards,

Anand

@anandcoral: Seems to be a dead end. I looked around but couldn't find anything better.
The currently available Documalis Free Reporter versions - v1.0 or v1.0.0.33 - seem to be available only as a crippled demo version with file size less than 1MB.
Wayback download page for Documalis Free Reporter for Oct. 2, 2008 is: https://web.archive...._telechargements.htm

- but the file is not held/downloadable via that page. Pity.

The relevant discussion forum on Wayback is: https://web.archive....action=profile;u=155
Read permission was for Registered Users only, apparently.
Forum seems to have been discontinued after 2009.
Trying to access www.eaistorage.com gets a "server DNS address could not be found" error message.

- but you probably already found all this too.

The Wayback Machine may be worth a shot.  If the software publisher hasn't asked them to pull the pages.
