request file association notify accept or deny change

I just tried it myself, and nothing... There is a setting in the Plus version that changes notification to real-time, but that didnt produce any response either :-/
I thought it used work, but very seldom change, or allow file associations to change on this machine.
Maybe someone else is more familiar with that aspect of WinPatrol?
Or anyone have a different/better suggestion?

WinPatrol is the type of application that tries to detect changes to these setting from external causes, not the Windows built-in screens & features.
