There are so many "inside jokes" available on the 'Net today, I thought it might be fun to pool our resources in order to highlight some we might not all know about. One of my favorites is this: All your base are belong to us. It comes from a bad Japanese game, that was so poorly translated, it became a cult classic. See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/All_your_base_are_belong_to_us

It definitely put me on task. I almost started this thread last week when nothing else was going on. When I found out what "All your base.." was about, I started seeing it everywhere. I just wonder what else I'm missing

I hate to put this up cause the content gets racey, but its SO relevant to the topic... The mastercard ad that spawned a million stupid satires... (as well as NSFW pics) Priceless! http://images.google.com/images?q=priceless

maybe i should have put NSFW in red flashing neon letters, as well as provide a definition... Not Safe For Work Also not my normal fare. I had heard that there were some funny parodies of this ad and typed "priceless" in google and just about fell off my chair. Never went there again until this thread. Thanks.

Snakes On a Plane + All Your Base Are Belong To Us= http://gorillamask.net/allyoursnakes.shtmland I think it's kind of old, but I've been seeing this a lot lately: im in ur base killn ur d00dzI can't find a link to any definite origins, but between SomethingAwful and Encyclopedia Dramatica, I cobbled up the following: "I'm in your base killing your dudes" is a catchphrase that can be roughly translated to "LOL you got pwned and don't even know it yet." Originating in an on-line multiplayer game StarCraft, two players (one unnamed, the other known as 1337h4x) are in a game with 1337h4x playing as the Zerg race, and the other as either the Terran or Protoss races. 1337h4x Zerg-rushed his opponent. Upon discovering that he was getting clobbered, his opponent asked: <n00b>dude, where are you? 1337h4x responded: <1337h4x> im in ur base, killing ur d00ds
