Usage
Installation
Download the zip file and extract its contents into a new folder.  Run RecursiView.exe to start the application.

Using the Application
Use the Browse button to load a folder.  Alternately, you can drag-n-drop a folder onto the interface.  The first toolbar button controls whether or not subfolders are scanned.  Various other actions are available via the toolbar, right-click menu and hotkeys.

Uninstallation
Delete the folder you unzipped it to.  The application doesn't write any of its settings to the registry.  However, to set a wallpaper, it does have to set three registry entries.  These are the standard ones that any image application must use when setting a wallpaper.

Do you share your source codes?

Hello, ahkscript, and welcome to the DonationCoder site.  In general, I do not provide the source code.  Was there something you needed to know how to do?

Ah too bad  :(
any reason why not?

I like a lot of your work and would like to have a copy of ALL of your lib if possible.
Can I at least have the thumbnails related lib? You did a good job with this app, and your right, doing thumbnails isn't easy in ahk.

Hope you agree :)

Agreed.  RecursiView is an app that would definitely benefit from being rewritten in a language that had a dedicated thumbnail control and associated libraries.

Hello skwire,
I've been using your pictures viewer, its pretty good for what I need it to do, specially recursion.
Can you add an option/button to pause or stop search?

Hello skwire,

Can you please make thumbnails centered? And maybe add an option to add background shadow?

Thanks  :)

Unfortunately, I cannot.  Creating listview thumbnails in AHK is mostly a hack so there's not a whole lot I can do with it.  Apologies...

This is another neat little thing I am coming to late in the party!

But it looks really useful to "vet" a machine to be sure stuff isn't "hiding" buried in a folder. And it looks much faster than boring Windows Search on my XP box!

An option of showing covers of epubs in a folder would be a nice thing to have. This would then be similar to a library view.
Is this possible, either for RecursiView or another app?

This isn't going to happen for RecursiView but I can recommend Calibre for all your ebook needs.

Thanks for the answer.
I am familiar with Calibre but don't like the fact that I have to add all books into its library, essentially having it twice. Even just looking at a folder of ebooks they have to be added.
For that reason I have been looking for a program which will let me, for any folder, see ebook covers.

Well can't win 'em all and have to keep looking.
