online tool or software to create a treeview

I want to create a virtual treeview, as the folder/file view you get in Windows when viewing as a treeview hierarchy

it doesn't have to be functional, I just want the treeview to edit and display

is there a tool for this?

I am looking to specify parent folders and subfolders (their names) and display the whole structure in a treeview

can I do it in Excel? in Word? in another tool? online? using JS or something?

the easiest solution I found is to use skwire's text to folders to actually create the folder hierarchy in Windows

now I need to extract the actual screenshot of it, but it's hard because it's very long!

what can I do?

you will need a html EDITOR, if you want to use dynamicdrive/jQuery treeview


But I think the company behind the "All-In-One Diagram Software" Edraw Max Pro may offer what  you want. Look around at their site; Edraw Max Pro is the Master, but you may want one of their many, cheaper versions. http://www.edrawsoft.com/

You could also use any "mind-mapper"-program.
