i've used Tic Toc Title on XP for years and love it - with one exception. As long as it affixes itself to a full screen window it's perfect but it's coded to show on any "window" that has the focus. And that may be a dialog block where it obscures the message. How hard would it be to tweak it so it *only* shows on the top-most maximized window? (says he who struggles to write a bat file)
BTW, i'm transitioning to Win 7 and it runs fine there in XP compatibility mode.
